WORKPLACE INJURY REHABILITATION AND COMPENSATION ACT 2013 - SECT 285
Referral of medical question relating to section 165 of this Act or section 93CD of the Accident Compensation Act 1985S. 285(1) amended by No. 73/2016 s. 21(3).
(1) If a medical question arises in a dispute relating to section 165 of this Act or section 93CD of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 , ACCS must, within 7 days after becoming aware of the medical question, refer the medical question to a Medical Panel.
(2) The Authority or self-insurer must bear all the costs reasonably incurred by a worker in relation to a referral of a medical question under this section.
